The structure of the call, already in place. Every application package opens with the documents and sections the funder asks for, in the right order, with the official guidance attached to each one. Place the cursor on a section title to read what that section has to cover.
No rebuilding the skeleton for each call into other tools, and no finding a missing section in the final week. The structure you write in is the structure that gets evaluated.
Find the gaps before you write. Typewiser checks your available project information against the specific requirements of each section of the proposal. It shows you where the evidence is sufficient and where a concept is still missing, so you can close the gap before generating.
Missing information surfaces while there is still time to ask a partner for it. You avoid the late rewrite that follows a gap found on the final read.
Build your knowledge base through a comfortable conversation. When information is missing, Typewiser runs a structured interview. It asks targeted questions about what it still needs. You can type, speak, upload a document, skip a question that does not apply, or ask the assistant to suggest an answer. What you give it is saved to the Knowledge Library.
Closing a gap becomes a short conversation rather than a search through shared folders. Answer once, and the information is there for every section that needs it.
Smart Drafting
Start from a robust draft. Typewiser writes each section of your proposal from the material in your Knowledge Library, following expertly crafted instructions for that section. You generate section by section, in the order that suits you, and edit the result directly in the editor.
The first draft comes in minutes. Your time goes into the argument instead of into assembling text from old submissions and partner emails.
A second pair of hands, inside the document. Use the quick actions on selected text (Shorten, Extend, Rephrase, Simplify), or ask in your own words to revise a paragraph, brainstorm a new angle, check consistency across sections, or anything else the moment calls for.
Revision happens where you are already working. The document stays yours, which matters when funders ask how AI was used.
Bring the evidence in while you write. Search from inside the assistant general information related to the proposal or scientific references with DOI links and add citations while drafting your proposal.
Claims get their references the moment you make them. Fewer unsupported statements reach the reviewer.
Team and colleagues working in one document. Typewiser is an online editor built for working together. Invite colleagues or team members into the project and write in the same document at the same time, with the same generation, review and export functionalities available to everyone you invite.
Aligning sections across partners happens in the document. The version everyone is editing is the version that gets submitted.
Review
Read the reviewers report before the reviewers write it. Typewiser reviews your proposal the way an evaluator would, checking the quality of the writing and scoring it against the official evaluation criteria of the call, from a single paragraph to the whole document. It returns a score, comments and recommendations, and never touches your text. You choose what to revise.
A weak paragraph gets caught while you can still rewrite it, and the whole proposal gets a rehearsal of the evaluator’s verdict before the real one is issued.
Submission
Leave with a document in the shape the funder asked for. Export your document in PDF or DOCX for review outside Typewiser or for submission preparation, using the export template that belongs to the package.
The last day goes to the content rather than to the formatting. What leaves Typewiser already matches the layout the programme expects.

Your documents and the text you write stay yours. Typewiser processes them only to run the service for you, under a data processing agreement, and you can export or delete your project at any time.

Funders revise their documents and their guidance while a call is open. Packages are versioned, and each one states what it includes and when it was last reviewed. Always check the official call documents before you submit.
A consortium works in one application package. An admin manages who has access to each document, and the knowledge each partner contributes is available to every section that needs it.
This depends on the call, and more funders now expect a declaration, so check the guidance the programme gives. Typewiser is built to support your writing, not to replace it: you review and edit everything before it goes in, so the proposal stays your own work and you can declare its use accordingly.
No. Your proposals and your project data are never used to train AI models.

Yes. Download the documents from your Knowledge Library and upload them to a new project, so the material you have already gathered carries forward to the next call.
The evaluation report is not a prediction of your score. It is a structured read of your proposal against the call’s criteria, meant to show you where to strengthen the text before you submit.
Export to PDF, HTML, or a submission-ready Word file. Figures and tables carry through in every format and remain fully editable as a DOCX, so you can retouch the proposal before you submit it.
Top up your account at any time. The additional credits are available immediately, so a deadline is never blocked by running short.
Yes. On the Starter plan, you can invite an external collaborator at no cost, though they will not have access to the AI features. On the Professional plan, you can also grant a partner AI access, and their usage is billed to your account.
Unless you delete your account, your documents remain available. You can keep working on them, but the AI features switch off with the subscription, so editing continues without generation, the assistant, or evaluation.
